Eric is a Partner at Norman and Graves, and is dedicated to providing personal and individualized care to each client and case. Eric provides representation to those with Personal Injury, Wrongful Death, and Class Action Claims. He has helped hundreds of clients over the years recover favorable results in their claims, and he takes pride in advocating for those who have been injured or killed at the negligence of another. At Norman and Graves, Eric treats every client with the utmost respect, no matter how big or small their issue may be.
Eric was born and raised in Kansas City and grew up experiencing the legal community through lawyers in his family. After learning about the world of personal injury by watching his father practice law, it is no surprise that Eric found himself as a personal injury attorney helping those in his community who need it most. He has experience representing clients from both sides of the state and throughout Missouri, as well as the state of Kansas.
Eric was named the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association 2026 Young Lawyer of the Year, which recognizes a lawyer under the age of 36 for significant community, civic, and professional work. This award is given to a lawyer who has contributed significant work toward public service programs and developed innovative activities which have enhanced the community, promoted the highest standards of professionalism, competence and ethical conduct, improved the image and promoted positive public awareness of the legal profession in the community, and achieved substantial success and accomplishment in the legal profession.
Eric has been named a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers every year since 2023.
Eric graduated cum laude from the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Law in May 2019 and joined the Norman and Graves team in August 2019. He has a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in finance and banking and graduated cum laude from the University of Missouri - Columbia.
Since graduating law school, Eric has sought out different avenues to improve himself as a lawyer and as a person. He completed the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association Trial Academy, the KCMBA Leadership Academy, and volunteered in the KCMBF Student Law Academy. Eric currently sits on the board of the KCMBA Young Lawyers Section.
When not fighting on behalf of his clients, Eric enjoys playing golf and tennis, traveling with his fiancée, and cheering on his Chiefs and Royals.
